Erin was our postpartum doula for our second baby and I can’t say enough good things about our experience. She helped set me up for success - breastfeeding education, a listening ear, laundry, taking my baby so I could rest, tidying up my kitchen - whatever I needed and whatever baby needed. Even after we had completed our time together she has answered questions a ways down the road. Erin is warm and caring and I have recommended her to many expecting parents and even given a lactation consultation as a baby gift. Thank you Erin for doing what you do and providing necessary support to so many families!

I interviewed several doulas before selecting this as our childbirth service provider, as my PC was away working. With this being our first child, the knowledge and care as a birth doula and the postpartum support given by Erin far exceeded our expectations. We felt very prepared for the birth, even when the nurse wasn’t! During the birth, Erin was able to explain what was going on with the baby, and what the next steps were. During our postpartum care, Erin was able to answer questions we had and put us at ease with her calm demeanour and wisdom.We have recommended this service to several of our friends and co-workers whenever they were expecting. We highly recommend Erin and her team!

My husband and I took a childbirth class with Erin and Ashleigh before we gave birth to our first child, and we are so grateful that we did! In additional to their impeccable organization and the well paced structure of the class, we really appreciated feeling seen and heard. It was so special to have the learning experience be more of a back and forth" rather than passive lecture style.They really opened my eyes as to how we might be able to feel empowered during our first birth experience. Prior to my first born being born, my husband and I participated in a prenatal class instructed by Erin Moyen. This class not only prepared us for the journey of labor and birth but revealed choices we did not know we had or could make surrounding our birth plan. We were fortunate to have Chavah help us with a number of breastfeeding challenges. Ashleigh, our lactation consultant, was fantastic. She was extremely knowledgable, caring, thoughtful and encouraging. I always felt that she went above and beyond for us - from the frequent calls/texts to check in" to see how we were doing

Erin offered support to my friend through the breastfeeding circle group at the Parent Link Centre. I met her there once and asked about private services for breastfeeding support. I needed to pump after going back to work to continue to provide breastmilk for my son. I left it last minute and was extremely impressed that Erin took the time to help me with pump choices on short notice. She also did a video consult for me due to the Covid19 recommendations of limiting contacts. I was able to get the support I needed to successfully begin my pumping at work journey. Thanks so much!

Having Erin's support over the first 6 weeks postpartum was truly wonderful and I am SO thankful for her! Erin brought a calm presence to our home whenever she was around (which really says a lot because with 3 children & 2 pets, things tend to get chaotic quickly!). She offered support and advice, took care of my older children so I could have bonding time with my baby or so I could sleep and shower. We had such an amazing experience with her and having her support made such a difference in adjusting to life with three kids. We are forever grateful for everything she did for us!

My husband and I are going to be first time parents. We took the full day private prenatal class with Erin and loved it! Very hands on, she tailored the class to our individual needs. We ended the class feeling confident and at ease about each process from labour, to birth and new born baby care. Would definitely recommend!

I contacted Erin Moyen 7 days after the birth of my second child due to troubles breastfeeding. I had been pumping 8 times a day on top of breast feeding to supplement his feeds as he wasn't gaining weight.Erin took the time to get to know my person struggles and adapt a plan that would individually work for me and my little one.She took into account birth weight and needed calories per feed to make an attainable plan.Within 24 hours of our first consult I was able to stop supplementing feeds and within 48 hours my son started consistently gaining weight.Although he did not double his birth weight in 10 days as expected by AHS, he did double it by 14. Considering he lost a significant amount following his birth and took over a week to start gaining, this was fantastic.The follow up and support provided to me during this emotional time was amazing. I could message anytime of day for advice or support.I highly recommend reaching out to Chavah if you need any support. I wish I knew about them before my troubles but am so glad i connected with them when I did.Erin

My husband and I attended a one day childbirth class in December with Erin Moyen. I loved the Lamaze background and we found it really educational. Being able to practice labour positions and pain relief techniques was very helpful in preparing for our birth. Erin is a great instructor and very knowledgeable. The day flew by! I highly recommend the course.
